So, who all is going to Wondercon?

We're pretty definitely going on Friday the 22nd, as my guy has requested the day off from work, but I'm thinking of getting a three day pass for myself, so I can still go with you geeks, if you're going. So, is anyone going???

    Out of five hundred eleven people on this Tribe, only three are going to Wondercon? Seriously?

    Come and PLAY, folks!!! If there were 20 or 30 of us, the odds of someone getting a Geek Date out of it increase quite a bit <g>. And even barring that, it's just more FUN to go to a Con with a bunch of people :).

    Just sayin'. There seem to be around 10 "active" members in this place...where're the other 501 of ya? <tink tink tink>

      Oh, and for the record, I'm going on Friday and possibly Sunday. I'm assuming Sunday is a better day for a group outing. So if anyone is up for meeting up on Sunday feel free to post a reply here and we can all work out the particulars.

        That's awesome, Mark! Any chance of doing breakfast near Moscone someplace and then hitting the con right when it opens on Friday? I know that's early for some people <g>, but I have to be back across the bridge before 5, if I Bart, and before 3:30ish if I drive, and I don't wanna miss anything <bounce>.

          Sounds good. Any idea what time it starts?

          BTW, the programming schedule is up on their site now. Looks like there are BSG and Farscape panels that day, both with actors from the respective shows. There are panels with Iron Man and Harold & Kumar on Saturday that I can't make! :(

          Tim Sale (who did the paintings in Heroes) has a panel on Sunday I might check out. There's also a Sarah Connor Chronicles panel on Sunday and River's going to be there!

              Yeah, I saw that X-Files event. Really bummed I can't make Saturday. All the movie stuff seems to be happening on Saturday. :(

                2:30-3:30 Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles Special Presentation and Q&A— Cast members Thomas Dekker (Heroes), Summer Glau (Firefly) and Brian Austin Green (Domino) join series consulting producer/pilot executive producer James Middleton (Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines) for a special presentation and Q&A session.

                But still don't see any hours!? First panel on Friday is at 1:00, but I'm betting that the dealer/artist room is open earlier than THAT. I'll keep my eyes open.
