Anyone planning on coming out? Every weekend, through the 23rd at the Cow Palace.

I'm working it, so I'll definitely be there...

To be specific, it's in the outbuildings down below the Cow Palace proper.

You know, where they store the animals before the show up in the arena. Kinda appropriate, really.

That said, head on down. It's a lot of fun.

Yup. History to be found here: www.cowpalace.com/cowhist.html

From what I'm told, by people who have visited Dickens World in London and Dickens Faire, they got nothing on us, except in terms of set design. But they're a permanent, for-profit affair, and this is a temporary seat-of-pants, many volunteer Christmas-themed craft fair.

I was there a few weeks ago. I stayed exactly long enough to pick up a crippled Puss-In-Boots, watch her understudy do the Panto and then leave to go get drunk.
So I have no idea if it was fun or not. :)
