Tue, March 25, 2008 - 1:12 PMWell, that kinda ties into the music thing. I guess since I stayed up until 2am last night to play the Boston pack the moment it came up that would qualify me as a Rock Band geek. :)
Although...I can *only* play the drums on Hard. Expert seems a bit much for me. -

Yesterday I had a great conversation with a colleague about dview twist and UCS in AutoCAD; morphed into grammar geekery pretty fast with a rundown of uses of the umlaut, circumflex and tilde in various languages, and words to describe pronunciation like schwa and diphthong. -

Sun, March 30, 2008 - 2:13 AMSome of my geeky buddies are race car guys. We get into the mechanics, performance optimization, suspension geometry, the mental game around it... creative visualization stuff.
Other friends, and myself, build stuff. Mutant vehicles, hot rods, upgrading our homes. Usually we do it in our own creative/geeky ways.
Being a I.T/Systems Admin for the last 10 years I like geek toys. No I don't have a big screen TV or satellite dish.
I'll take traveling to a new place over a big screen any day.
I like the learning, history, and comedy channels.
My interests change as time moves on.
Another creative outlet is cooking. Yep, this guy can cook. -
